What To Pack: Anniversary Trip to Grove Park Inn
This Sunday Mike and I will celebrate our seventh wedding anniversary at the Grove Park Inn. We go there every year for our anniversary even though we already live in Asheville, it's just our tradition. For two parents constantly on the go, we love parking (no, valeting!) our car and not moving it again until we leave. With so many restaurants and a world-class spa on site, everything we could ask for is right at our finger tips. And the short drive home is pretty sweet, too.
Even though we're local to Asheville, we still treat it as a genuine resort vacation, which means I have to pack for one. And if I have to whittle down my travel style philosophy into three words, it would be this: look the part. Arrive dressed comfortably but fashionably. Bring your resort wear and sexy-chic swimsuits you may not wear around the kids. (Keep it classy though, I'm talking cheeky cuts not string bikinis.) And always be sure to pack a killer dress or your most flattering jeans and heels for a romantic dinner date.
Below you can see each look I put together for our anniversary trip to Grove Park Inn. It's a good mix of casual separates I can mix and match depending on my mood, plus a couple dresses (one casual, one dressier). Be sure to see each outfit in action in my latest IGTV episode embedded underneath the photo gallery!

How do you celebrate your wedding anniversary? Do you keep it low key or go on a trip? We're lucky that such an amazing resort is right in our backyard so we don't really have to travel long distances to get away. But even if you aren't local, a trip to the Grove Park Inn is a MUST! It's the best mix of cozy and classy.
Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today! See you when we get back!
