In My Closet: Holiday Fashion Finds
Before we dive in to today's post, let's go ahead and establish that I'm what you'd call a Christmas Enthusiast. I want all the traditions, the sparkle, the warm beverages, the sweet treats, the old movies, the classic carols the plaid, the red, the green, the everything-in-between. And I know my sisters in O Tannebaum O-bsession' are out there, too! This one goes out to y'all ladies...
This is my round-up of the holiday fashion and Christmas styles I've been adding to my closet over the last several weeks. We're on a really tight budget this year so I've been paying close attention to items that are low cost and/or on sale but still high quality. I've got your warm-and-cozy pieces, iconic holiday prints, and sparkly festive styles!
FIT: Fits TTS, only $30!
STYLE TIPS: Go casual with jeans, festive with a party skirt, or cozy with holiday pajama pants! Also love this Merry Christmas vintage sweater, and this festive off-the-shoulder sweater for $10.
FIT: Fit TTS, moderate heel, comfortable to walk in, just $30!
STYLE TIPS: Love them with jeans and this plaid circle skirt (see photo below!). More sizes may be available in your local Versona store.
FIT: Does it get more Christmasy than this?! Fits TTS, high-waisted, comes with detachable belt, and very reasonable at just $50.
STYLE TIPS: Wear with a basic turtleneck, silk blouse, or Christmas sweater like this Winterland sweater or this mistletoe sweater.
FIT: Runs TTS, costs just $15, and comes in six colors.
STYLE TIPS: All the statement pieces we love this time of year require some easy basics to balance them out. It is a great piece to layer with for cold days, or to wear with a simple suede jacket and jeans.
FIT: Both items fit TTS. If you're between sizes in pants, order the smaller size.
STYLE TIPS: This holiday graphic tee goes with everything from dressy trousers, to sequin pencil skirts, to Christmas pajama bottoms. These red paper-bag pants (just $25!) are equally versatile. Dress them down with flat mules and a turtleneck, or dress them up with a silk cami and strappy metallic sandals.
FIT: Pants TTS, maybe slightly big. Camisole runs small; I recommend sizing up.
STYLE TIPS: These sequin pants are capital G gorgeous! Keep it simple up top with a delicate cami, body suit, or silk top. Consider pairing with the coordinating sequin jacket.
FIT: Runs TTS
STYLE TIPS: The colors in this sweater -- brown, black, cream, gray -- makes it compatible with just about everything! I got this to layer over a simple turtleneck and wear with velvet leggings and snow boots on cold, wintery days.
FIT: Coat runs slightly big; order normal size or one size down.
STYLE TIPS: This coat has everything and is on sale for $75! Water and wind resistant, four pockets (two with snap covers), removable faux fur trim, and machine washable! The beanie's rose gold metallic threads give it a lovely shimmer -- and it's on sale for $15!
FIT: Runs TTS; slouchy fit but sizing down may lose you length through the torso.
STYLE TIPS: Love this top for lounging around at home or running errands around town. So soft and easy to layer under cardigans and jackets. Love how it looks with a chunky scarf (see below!).
FIT: Both items are One Size
STYLE TIPS: These coordinating accessories would make a great DIY gift set! At just $15 each it's totally affordable to get both.
...Also love them with this PINK SHERPA CARDIGAN layered over top!
