Three Lines I'm Loving
Something I think we're all guilty of is finding our go-to, usual brands or stores and just shopping them over and over. It's a good thing in many ways but sometimes it prevents us from discovering new things we'd love just as much, or even saving a pretty penny or two!
Following bloggers and influencers on Instagram and using the Like To Know It app has been the biggest help for me personally in discovering new styles from new places at good prices. (You can see my LTK looks HERE.) I LOVE being able to find out details on a piece I see someone wearing instantly, and it's even better when I see that it's affordable! You kinda learn over time which bloggers wear pieces within a certain price range. Even if certain bloggers shop way over your pay grade, you can still find awesome styling inspiration in how they wear colors and prints, or embrace a more minimal aesthetic.
Anyhoo, all this is to say that between scrolling through my Instagram feed, email inbox, and oldie-but-goodie retailers, I've found some pretty things that are just too darling not to share! Everything is very spring-summery and also very budget friendly!
SPRING SHOES FOR LESS AT DSW
Shoes are my thiiiiing and I've found several cute and current styles at DSW lately. They've got every style you need for spring -- espadrilles, wedges, flat sandals, sneakers, Birks -- at the prices are awesome. If you sign up for their rewards you get great coupons. I just used mine to get $20 off these Marc Fisher espadrille sneakers which made them such a good deal! Here are a few of my faves.
VANS are the new trendy street sneaker this season. DSW carries them in all colors, from white and black to blue and pink. I love this sky blue pair to wear with blue and white striped blouses or to pair with a feminine dress.
The extra chunky platform on these reminds me of this pink pair I had in seventh grade. I bought them from this cool skate shop in Atlanta called Abba Dabba's and I thought I was soooo cool in them. I was totally a dork in seventh grade tho haha!
Pumps with a high, v-shaped vamp are another popular shoe this season and the white shade of this pair makes them even trendier. They also come in nude, mauve suede, and black. I love the slingback because I have the hardest time keeping regular pumps on feet; my ankle always slips out!
Valentino's signature rock stud details are now on their spring espadrilles, but luckily for us, there are other designers who have similar shoes for a fraction of the price. I love this pair that also comes in gold metallic leather.
How cute are these strappy sandals?! They're so perfect to wear with jeans and a femme blouse or with dressier shorts. I love this happy blue color but they also come in pink, citron, and silver. I've seen a famous blogger wear hers with ankle socks which looks cool but isn't really my personal style...if it's yours then go for it!
SoCal Separates from Vici Collection
I first heard of Vici through some of their ambassadors they call their "dolls." I didn't really know what that meant at first but then I caught on to their website and have been a big fan ever since! The styles are very SoCal feminine, channeling that dreamy, relaxed-romantic vibe. Besides their cute designs they are SO affordable! Most everything I've seen is under $100 and usually in the $50-60 range. If you sign up for their emails they will send you a 20% off coupon code pretty much every day. I just wore this jumpsuit of theirs to The Scout Guide's launch party and I got so many compliments on it.
PRETTY LOUNGEWEAR FROM LOVE BY GAP BODY
Oh my goodness, y'all! When we were in Chapel Hill we went to the mall (a real, live, actual mall!) and I saw the Love by Gap Body collection in person. I wanted every single piece. It is all SO pretty, light as a feather, and some of it I swear you could wear out of the house. I had to get several pieces and plan on living in it all spring and summer!
Rarely do I see a butterfly print that I don't instantly fall in love with. This set is so pretty and feels so light on your skin.
I bought this set and it's so sweet. It doesn't look like your typical pajama set so I've already tried pairing it with a kimono to see if I can wear it like a matching coord set. I think I'm going to go for it! If not, then I'll just have gorgeous loungewear. Win win.
