The (blank) of Summer

There's something so fun about summer superlatives. We connect both memories we've already made and those yet to come with sights, sounds, tastes, and feels. And doesn't summer just give you allllll the feels?

Every year there's a whole conversation over what will be the official Song of Summer. I can't tell you what took home the 2015 title (probably because I was pregnant, nauseous, and off of margaritas. Bo-ring). But remember how 'Blurred Lines' practically defined summer 2013? How did it never get old? Two thousand fourteen's tune was less definitive, but I thiiiiink it was 'Fancy.' You already know.

So what's going to be the 2016 song of summah-tiiiiime? It's 99.9% likely to be Justin Timberlake's 'Can't Stop the Feeling' which is to-ta-lly A-OK with me!

It's just mid-June so there's still time. Even if the song of summer is locked up, what about other fun categories? For instance...

• Sip of Summer - Margarita, no contest

• Smell of Summer - Tie between sunscreen and freshly mown grass

• Sound of Summer (not songs) - Lawnmowers and pool splashes

• Color of Summer - Coral. I don't wear it a ton but it just looks like summer so...

• Style of Summer (the fashions) - Denim shorts

• Pastime of Summer - Reading a juicy novel on the beach
